National and International Achievements

National/International Contribution:

  1. Our Founder and Chief Executive Officer represented the organization to contribute at the following events:
    1. Researched and authored UNGASS India Youth Shadow Report which was presented at the UNGASS (United Nations General Assembly Special Session) on HIV at the High Level Meeting at the UN Secretariat in New York in 2008
    1. Conducted workshop on “Role of Religious Leaders in Addressing HIV” for religious leaders at Interfaith Conference and 9th International Conference on AIDS in Asia and Pacific, Bali, Indonesia from 5-15 August, 2009.
    1. Speaker for Plenary Session and Facilitator for Skill Building Workshop on “Involvement of Young People in Global Response to HIV/AIDS” at the International Youth Forum of World Alliance of YMCAs held at Hong Kong, 15-20 July 2010.
    1. Conducted Workshop at International Conference – Interfaith Response on Reducing Stigma and Discrimination against HIV and AIDS for religious leaders at the Art of Living International Ashram in Bengaluru in 2010.
    1. Contributed to Strategic Planning Meeting of Youth LEAD Project of UNFPA and 7 Sisters, Bangkok, 2011.
    1. Contributed to Asia & Pacific Regional Consultation on Universal Access to HIV Prevention, Treatment, Care and Support: ‘Getting to Zero’, Bangkok, by UNAIDS, 2011.
    1. Represented India in BRIC as a Steering Committee Member in organizing Mali Youth Summit, Bamako (Mali) organized by UNAIDS, 2011.
    1. Facilitated Regional Study of Youth LEAD Project on Asia Pacific Regional Study on Sexual Reproductive and Health Rights (SRHR) needs of Young Key Populations (YKP) affected and living with HIV.
    1. Served as a Member of Global Organizing Committee for World Council of Churches – Ecumenical Advocacy Alliance for organizing Pre-Interfaith Conference for AIDS 2018 at Amsterdam, in July 2018.
